Ultimate Guide for Level 1 in Wines

Welcome to Your Ultimate Guide to WSET Level 1 in Wines!  Your guide to studying smart!

This companion is designed to work with our WSET course, not replace it. Think of it as a study buddy  🎓🗂️ — the place where the information clicks, sticks, and actually starts to make sense.

Note: If you’re enrolled in an in-person WSET course, you’ll likely receive a printed textbook. If you’re taking the course online through Canvas, you may not receive a textbook, as the Canvas program contains everything you need to successfully complete the course.

🤓 Instructions:

✅  1. Read a Chapter in the book or cover the relevant topics in ‘Modules’ in Canvas. 2. Then head on over to this Ultimate Guide and catch up with the corresponding lesson (Session 1). Here we’ll review the main themes, flip through flashcards or watch videos. 3. Next, we’ll test our recall immediately and take a quiz (or more!).

✅ 4. After the quiz, hit the ‘View Questions‘ button to explore correct and incorrect answers. If our grade falls below 85%, retake the quiz – both the questions and answers will shuffle – exposing us to new ones!

✅ Note that my questions are way harder than your WSET exam will be. With these as practice, by the time you get to your exam, it will be a breeze 🍃🌬️

✏️ 📋 For Your  WSET Exam…

• 🎯 You have 45 minutes
• 🎯  to complete 30 multiple choice questions.
• 🎯  You must get 70% or more in order to pass the exam
• 🎯  (that’s getting 21 questions right out of 30!)

📕📗📘📙  And in case you haven’t read it yet, WSET publishes a ‘Specification’ booklet. It tells you everything you need to know in order to pass your exam.
